Privacy policy
This policy explains how Goodday Care handles your personal information, and the choices you have. We're committed to protecting your privacy.
Draft for review. This privacy policy is a starting template. Please have it reviewed and approved by the business and a qualified legal or privacy adviser, and confirm it matches Goodday Care's actual practices, before publishing.
Who we are
This website is operated by Disability Lifestyles Pty Ltd (ABN 44 648 272 593), trading as Goodday Care ("we", "us", "our"), a registered NDIS provider based in Queensland, Australia. We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
The information we collect
When you make an enquiry through this website, we collect the information you choose to give us, which may include:
- your name;
- your email address;
- your phone number (if you provide it);
- the nature of your enquiry; and
- any other details you include in your message.
You do not have to provide this information, but we may not be able to respond to your enquiry without it. If you contact us by phone or email instead, we collect the information you share in that conversation.
Providing disability supports may involve collecting sensitive information, including health information, during the course of our services. That information is handled under our participant service and consent arrangements — not through this website.
How we use your information
We use the information you give us to:
- respond to your enquiry and provide the information or support you ask for;
- contact you about your enquiry or the services you're interested in; and
- keep records of our communications with you.
We do not use your enquiry details for unrelated marketing without your consent.
How your enquiry is handled
When you submit the enquiry form, your details are sent to us by email so our team can respond. This website does not store your enquiry in a database.
For record-keeping and to help us fix any technical problems, enquiry submissions are also written to a secure log on our web server. These logs are not publicly accessible, and they are automatically deleted after 90 days.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies, and does not run third-party analytics.
When we disclose your information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it only where necessary to respond to your enquiry or deliver services — for example, with team members involved in your support — or where required or authorised by law.
Storing and protecting your information
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Enquiries submitted through this site are transmitted over a secure (HTTPS) connection. Server-side enquiry logs are kept in a non-public location and are automatically deleted after 90 days; enquiry emails are retained by our team only as long as needed to help you.
Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it's inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. Contact us using the details below and we'll help. We may need to verify your identity first.
Making a complaint
If you have a concern about how we've handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
